There are so many places to visit that we can’t list them all – whether you are interested in Wales’ maritime past, the Llyn’s industrial, cultural or natural heritage there is something for everyone. Please check to ensure they are open, as a number have seasonal opening hours.

The Lloyd George Museum, Llanystumdwy, Criccieth
The Museum commemorates David Lloyd George, one of the greatest statesmen of the twentieth century. Tel: 01766 522071

Parc Glynllifon, Llandwrog
One of only three Grade 1 Listed Gardens in Gwynedd. Situated within the 70 acres is a diverse selection of exotic trees and plants, imported and planted over 150 years ago, complete with Follies dating back to the 18th century. Tel: 01286 830222.

Welsh Highland Railway, Porthmadog
A small, friendly railway where the train ride is just part of experience. The vintage train also stops at the sheds, where you can get off for a free guided and hands-on tour. Tel: 01766 513402.

Criccieth Castle, Criccieth
